Manoel Island is itself named after Manuel de Vilhena, a Grandmaster of the Knights of Malta in medieval times and under whose leadership Fort Manoel was built.Recreation: Giulio's restaurant offers hotel guests and patrons daily buffet breakfast from 07.30 to 09.30.A medium sized swimspa / jacuzzi is located on the 8th floor just out side the main restaurant. The area is strictly reserved for hotel's residents where they can relax in the sun or shade enjoying a refreshing drink or special cocktail prepared by the barman.
