Situated on the eastern side of St. Paul's bay the three resorts look across to St. Paul's Island where it is believed the apostle was shipwrecked in AD60. Bugibba is a thriving resort. By day there is excellent bathing from smooth rock platforms. Beach bars lie alongside perfect when you need to cool off. There are many shops, bars and cafes situated along the seafront promenade and for evenings, visit the wide selection of restaurants, bars and night sports. The town of St. Paul's Bay itself is somewhat quieter than Bugibba although it too has plenty of restaurants, cafes, bars and food shops. The old town still manages to retain a Maltese charm of former years. Qawra is an extremely popular resort yet slightly more laid back than its neighbours. It has a narrow shingle beach and a selection of shops, bars and restaurants.Recreation:The Highlands Restaurant serves an exciting choice of Mediterranean cuisine. Our Outdoor Swimming pool is serviced from the Pool Bar while the Roof Top Terrace having a swim spa with bar facilities during the summer period. The Mondrian café serves snacks throughout the day.
